Quality and safety first

The DAC S.p.A. Quality Management System is defined as an integrated system because it constantly integrates quality, food safety and the environment. This system is designed to achieve the company’s objectives, the most important of which are: quality, safety, sustainability and the ability to provide products and services that meet customer requirements. 

Our team is made up of people who are passionate about their work, and we also invest in professional training to create a highly dynamic and competent group.

We believe in continuous improvement, constantly refining our organizational processes, which are verified and validated to ensure the safety of our products and the maximum satisfaction of our customers.

DAC uses an accredited external laboratory to perform more than one hundred analyses per year on its branded products. This is done both to verify the adequacy of the microbiological parameters and to ensure that the chemical parameters meet the requirements of the relevant regulations.

The same types of analyses (as well as technical and safety data sheets and MOCA declarations) are requested from suppliers as part of the qualification and periodic reassessment of the supplier base and are kept in the Quality Office archive.

Certifications

In line with the policy adopted for quality, food safety, and environmental protection, we have obtained certifications according to various standards, renewing and gradually expanding our goals over the years.

Food Safety

Food safety is implemented through the application of self-control procedures that include, among others, product reception, storage, warehousing, and transportation controls.

Product traceability

The traceability system adopted by DAC is certified according to ISO 22005 (traceability in agri-food chains). Thanks to this system, it is possible at any time to document the path of a product from its entry into the company to the final consumer.
