The exclusive DAC recipe contains only PDO Genoese Basil, unfiltered extra virgin olive oil, Grana Padano DOP Riserva over 20 months, Pecorino Fiore Sardo DOP, pine nuts and is lactose-free.
We have also created the Sac-a-Posche version, which is very practical and appreciated by our customers because it is easy to decorate with pesto: pizzas, sandwiches, canapés and whatever you want
Our tips for use
Baffo Verde Pesto is a raw, unpasteurized product, not made with dehydrated ingredients. For this reason, it does not keep well at high temperatures and should not be heated in a frying pan.
It is possible to revive it with a spoonful of cooking water and we recommend using it at the end of cooking pizzas and finger foods. It has an excellent firmness that allows it to be stretched and diluted with cooking water, olive oil, sunflower oil, cooking cream and béchamel.
