It was in 1972 that Giuseppe Scuola, a Barilla inspector, recognized the great potential of the food service sector in Italy.

Starting with a small range of products and a regional basis delivery service, the new CEO Giuseppe Scuola founded the DAC S.p.A. Group, today the leading professional food distribution company in Italy.

Thanks to our constant commitment and passion for food, we have been carefully selecting each product for over 50 years, resulting in an extensive catalog able to satisfy any need.

Our history

DAC S.p.A., founded in the 1970s by Giuseppe Scuola in Flero (BS), has grown to become the second largest food service operator in the national market.

Creation of the Vino Veritas division
